With nearly three decades of experience in mental health, I am fortunate enough to use my expertise to teach adults and adolescents in group settings. Some of these workshops include: enhancing the parent/child bond, parenting skills, self-esteem enhancement, and anxiety-reduction workshops.
Some of these workshops include: anxiety-reduction, managing depression, self-esteem enhancement, stress management in the workplace, improving communication, enhancing the parent/child bond, and parenting skills. These are specifically tailored for the audience.
Presentations are focused on providing solution-focused tactical tools and exercises to overcome challenges and thrive. These workshops vary in length but most are 2-3 hours. I include evidence-based research and actionable tips to help the audience learn the theory and practical applications of each topic. In the past, I have customized a 150 hour training for therapists to become Registered Play Therapists and facilitated this series of workshops at DePelchin Children’s Center in Houston, TX and at Scotty’s House in Bryan, TX.
